Senado aprova regulamentação de condutor de ambulância e de técnico em biblioteconomia

O Plenário do Senado aprovou nesta quinta-feira (14) a regulamentação de duas profissões: técnico em biblioteconomia e condutor de ambulância. As matérias que tratam dos temas seguem agora para a sanção da Presidência da República.

O projeto que regulamenta a profissão de técnicos em biblioteconomia (PLC 15/2017) determina que para exercer a profissão é necessário o trabalhador ser legalmente habilitado em curso de formação específica. O projeto define como requisito para o exercício da atividade profissional possuir diploma de formação de nível médio, expedido no Brasil, por escolas oficiais ou reconhecidas; ou possuir diploma expedido por escola estrangeira, mas revalidado no Brasil. Atualmente a legislação regulamenta apenas a profissão daqueles que têm curso superior na sua área de atuação.

A obrigatoriedade do registro no Conselho Regional de Biblioteconomia (CRB) também é determinada pelo projeto. O técnico em biblioteconomia deverá ainda ser supervisionado por um bibliotecário formado e registrado no CRB. Para a relatora do projeto na Comissão de Assuntos Sociais (CAS), senadora Regina Sousa (PT-PI), a proposta impedirá que “pessoas sem os conhecimentos técnicos pertinentes exerçam tão relevante profissão, em prejuízo dos milhões de frequentadores das bibliotecas nacionais”.

Pelo projeto que regulamenta o exercício da atividade de condutor de ambulância (PLC 82/2017), o profissional deverá ser maior de 21 anos, ter obtido ao menos o diploma de nível médio e ter a habilitação para condução de veículos nas categorias D ou E.

O condutor também deverá demonstrar haver recebido treinamento especializado e reciclagem em cursos específicos a cada cinco anos. Relatado na Comissão de Assuntos Sociais (CAS) pelo senador Paulo Paim (PT-RS), o projeto é do deputado Valdir Colatto (PMDB-SC).
